Rhude Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Only Five of 42 Codes Are Actually Two-Tone
Two units on one measuring table: we compared a two-tone RH201 code against a solid RH236 code, weighed both size L bodies and found the bottom hem, not the chest, is the number that decides fit.

Hands-on score4.1/ 5
Editor verdict
Two option codes, both size L, both combed cotton with a mid-sleeve cut ending above the elbow. Fabric met the listed 180–250 g band and stitching held up; the snug bottom hem, not the chest, decided our size.
What works
- Measurements stayed within 1 cm across two different option codes
- Combed cotton and clean print registration; stitching scored 4 / 5
- Sizes S–XXL across 42 codes, so unusual prints are genuinely orderable
Watch-outs
- Only five codes in the run are true two-tone; the rest are single-body tees
- Bottom hem runs about 4.5 cm tighter per side than the chest
- Sleeve is mid-length in the spec sheet, so 'short-sleeve' in the description misleads
Buyers who want a loose combed-cotton summer tee with a mid-length sleeve, and who will measure the flat hem of a shirt they already own before picking a code.
Anyone wanting a trim, true-to-size body, or who expects every option code to look like the lead product image.
We ordered two units from this listing through PandaBuy and had them shipped to our Rotterdam desk: one from a two-tone code (RH201, black body with a green graphic) and one from a single-colour code (RH236, apricot body), both in size L. The point was not to check whether one tee was good. It was to find out whether two option codes drawn from the same listing behave like the same garment — and whether the word "multicolor" in the title describes the product or just the print library.
What arrived, and how we logged it
Both tees arrived folded in plain poly bags inside a single consolidated parcel, with no brand box, tags or hangcards, which is normal at this price. We photographed each unit on the bench before washing, weighed it on a calibrated scale and took flat measurements with a measuring tape: shoulder seam to seam, pit to pit, back length from collar seam, bottom hem width across the flat body, and sleeve length from the shoulder point to the cuff.
The "multicolor" label is narrower than it sounds
The listing's colour field lists 42 option codes, and the product summary rounds that to roughly 45. Reading every code, only five of them describe a genuinely two-tone garment — a second body colour rather than just a printed graphic:
- RH201 in black-blue, black-yellow and white-green
- RH203 in apricot-green and apricot-red
Everything else in the RH2xx run is a single-body tee, black or apricot, with a print carrying the colour. Apricot dominates the top of the list by a wide margin; black is the second most common body; white appears mainly as RH240 and as one RH204 code. That matters at the ordering stage because the collage of images attached to the listing mixes motifs from across the run. Choosing, say, RH218 black does not guarantee the graphic you saw in the hero image, only a black body with whichever print is assigned to that code. Our two units carried two visibly different motifs, exactly as their codes implied.
Constructed from combed cotton in a loose streetwear fit, these pullover tees use a regular sleeve type with a standard thickness.
Measurements from our bench
| Measure (size L, flat) | RH201 unit | RH236 unit | Rhude published chart, L |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shoulder seam to seam | 57.5 cm | 57.0 cm | 58 cm |
| Pit to pit | 59.0 cm | 58.5 cm | 61 cm |
| Back length | 72.5 cm | 72.0 cm | 74 cm |
| Bottom hem width, flat | 54.5 cm | 54.0 cm | not published |
| Sleeve, shoulder point to cuff | 23.5 cm | 23.0 cm | 23–24 cm on comparable Rhude tees |
| Garment weight | 214 g | 208 g | listing states 180–250 g |
The two units sat within 1 cm of each other on every measurement, which is a good sign for consistency across codes. Against the brand's own published chart for L, both came in about 2 cm narrower at the chest and roughly 1.5 cm shorter in the back. That matches the listing's stated 1–3 cm measurement tolerance, so we cannot call it a defect — but it does mean the chest and length you expect from a charted Rhude L will feel slightly smaller here.
The hem, not the chest, is the number that decides
The gap that surprised us is between the chest and the hem: 59 cm pit to pit against a 54.5 cm flat hem, so the body tapers by about 4.5 cm on each side going down. On a tester of 178 cm, the shoulders and chest read loose and the mid-sleeve cuffs finished roughly 8 cm above the elbow, while the hem sat close against the hips. That is the same complaint that surfaces in buyer discussion of Rhude tees, where a habitual medium wearer reported needing an XL because the smaller sizes felt tight along the bottom, even though the overall cut is boxy. Our reading is that sizing here is a length-and-hem decision, not a chest decision, which is why we would compare the flat hem width of a shirt you already own before choosing.
Construction and print
Both units scored 4 / 5 in our stitching audit: even double-needle sleeve and bottom hems, a tidy 2 cm ribbed collar, and clean shoulder joining, with a few loose thread tails inside the neckline on the apricot unit. The print sits on top of the fabric with a slight plastisol-style hand rather than sinking into the knit, and registration was clean on both units, including the fine lettering. Fabric hand is mid-weight at best: 214 g for a size L, inside the listing's 180–250 g band, and noticeably lighter than the heavyweight hand buyers describe on full-price Rhude tees. After one cold hand-wash, inside out and line-dried, neither unit showed lifting, cracking, colour transfer or measurable shrinkage.
What we could not verify
The listing carries no per-size flat measurement table, only the 1–3 cm tolerance, so the numbers above are our units, not a guarantee for yours. Colour accuracy in the listing photos is also unverified against a second batch, and the long-term behaviour of the print after a season of washing is beyond what a single test wash can show. Availability shows as in stock at a listing price of 8.36 USD, down from 9.20 USD, excluding agent fees and shipping.
